Denier is a unit of measurement that is used to determine the thickness of a fiber, individual threads or filaments used in the creation of textiles and fabrics. Fabrics with a high denier count tend to be thick, sturdy, and durable. Fabrics with a low denier count – like our 210 – tend to be sheer, soft, and silky. Even with the lower count, this fabric repels water and resists rips and tears.

Common uses for this material are:

  • tent making
  • banners
  • flags
  • slip covers for furnishings
  • various sacks
  • various cases
  • various bags
  • drawstring bags
  • computer bags
  • grill covers
  • windbreakers
  • any marine purposes
  • Liners for waterproofing

Note: All denier fabric material is sold by the linear yard. Most orders are shipped folded; certain items 10 yards or more will be shipped on a tube. If you need your order to ship on a tube, please click the box on the cart page. Primed artist canvas is the only item shipped on a tube regardless of length.

Volume Discount Breaks: 50-99 Yards – 5% Off, 100 yards – 10% Off.
