Description

1000 Denier Nylon – Denier Nylon (Textured) Charcoal 61″

1000 denier nylon consists of high tenacity nylon yarn, plain woven fabric with a polyurethane coating, making it water repellent (durable). Denier nylon is not as expensive as it€™s Cordura version, but it has very similar properties. We use Cordura to refer to any hook and loop such as Velcro. As a result of this durability, military specified products often require Cordura. But for commercial uses, nylon canvas works just as well.

Therefore, use these fabrics for the following projects:

  • Luggage
  • Sport bags
  • Duffel bags
  • Backpacks
  • Wallets
  • Horse blankets
  • Pet beds
  • Chaps
  • Much more!

Due to its resistance to abrasion, high-strength, price and a variety of colors, denier nylon a popular choice for durable products. Especially relevant, 1050D ballistic nylon is also available for purchase.
