Nylon packcloth is a lightweight, strong and versatile fabric. Made from high tenacity nylon yarns and coated on one side with polyurethane, this denier fabric is one of our most popular. Our Nylon Packcloth is a versatile and flexible nylon fabric available in 400 denier nylon.

As this is a water repellent nylon fabric, and as this 420d material possesses a clear polyurethane back coating, this is an ideal material for a variety of applications. As we are often asked “is nylon water resistant?” we always inform our customers that nylon is water repellent. Here is better detailed information: Water-resistant: able to resist the penetration of water to some degree but not entirely. Water-repellent: not easily penetrated by water, especially as a result of being treated for such a purpose with a surface coating. Waterproof: impervious to water.
